Mainly commercial interests, which can mean deep dives and weird explorations of topics that dummies on tiktok brain scramblers or whatever can’t fathom. And that’s why Oracle is Oracle, and all of the frothy hype-ers… no need to waste breath there.

I’m personally deep into a computer science phase at the moment (May 2026) so while I wouldn’t expect updates to the homepage anytime soon, I’ll probably be writing in the daily emails about Dijkstra’s book A Discipline of Programming, the book Using Z by Woodcock and Davies, and all of Ken Iverson’s work.
That stuff may bubble up in bits to the homepage, but join the email list if you are actually interested in that stuff now and not when someone gets around to it.
At other times it is music or drawing, tutoring, psychology, all kinds of crazy leadership and management stuff, and in general we are here to solve problems of all kinds, as long as it’s fun and people are happy, or as long as everyone is honest and non-violent then technical problems, people problems, creative problem-solving, rapid prototyping, and research and development — all are welcome.
